The Ministry for
Progress of Border Areas and National Races and Development Affairs is
implementing development of border areas and urban development in 284 townships
throughout the country with 519 officers and 24,090 other ranks, totalling
24,609 personnel.
|
|
|
|
The Ministry has
two departments, Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department that is
reponsible for the development of border areas and national races and the
Department of Development Affairs which is responsible for the urban
development. |

Under the guidance
of the Central Committee for the Development of Border Areas and National Races
and the Work Committee for the Development of Border Areas and National Races,
the Ministry and Sub - Committees have been undertaking the development
activities m coordination with the Regional Work Committees.The regions where
